August 2005 Updates

8.31.05 - Black Cat Screencaps....

Yep, today I have Black Cat screencaps. If you didn't know, it's going to be an anime. TBS Japan has a preview up for it at their site, so I decided to screencap it. I'm planning on screencapping the series when it airs (October 6), and I'm sure somebody'll fansub it.

I don't know what I really think about the character designs though. Train for example, looks extremely young. He's supposed to be 23 and Sven's supposed to be 30, and they really don't look it. Although it looks like all the shots of Train in the clip are from his Chrono's days or from his fight with Creed. We'll see.

I think I have finally decided on which series to add to the site, which I'll say is a manga only series. But don't expect to see that series here for a few months, at the latest. The other series I'm thinking of adding should see the light of day sooner.

As should be mentioned, the first volume of the Black Cat manga will be released on March 14, 2006 by Viz.

If you look at the article on ANN that lists Viz's winter and spring titles, the other series that I'm planning on adding is on there. As a hint, it's a Jump title. ;)

I also added some fanart by a new artist on page 10.

8.17.05 - Beware of Pastels

Man, have I been slacking. Updates have been pretty non-existent here, eh? Well, I have some stuff today.

First and foremost, new layout. This isn't the best I can do, but it will have to do until I get around to making something better. The last one was getting really old to me.

This one features Ed and Ling with parts of Ed's fight with Ran Fan (Lan Fan, whichever way you want to spell it). Ling and Ran are manga only characters, so if the anime's all you've seen, you won't know who they are. Much Ling love though. ^_^

For the content update, I added thirty-six scans for the tenth volume of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. These include the cover, mock covers and spine, omake's, flaps, plus twenty-seven scans from chapter thirty-eight. I'm going to warn you, this volume has a bunch of huge spoilers (a lot of things are revealed...). So, don't look at the chapter scans unless you don't mind or already know.

I'm planning on adding some scans for Kodocha and Saikano soon, as well as some more screencaps. I'm also thinking of adding a random gallery. I have a ton of manga for other series, but not enough to warrant individual sections. So, I think I may do that. We'll see.
