February 2003 Updates

2.28.03 - New Inuyasha Pics

I uploaded 124 new images to almost every section of Inuyasha. Most of them are from the manga. I'm gonna probably upload a ton of images for the Episodes section sometime this weekend. That's all for now.

2.26.03 - IY new layout, and the future of Dragon Ball

I changed the Inuyasha layout. Now I can get a more realistic look at the amount of visitors to the site. I hope you guys like it.

I'm seriously thinking of canning the DB/Z/GT section temporarily. Since I moved the site to this new server with all of the new images, it's already used over 7 GB of bandwidth. This has me a little worried. I checked the percentage of where the visitors go, and 65% of visitors are going to the Inuyasha section. Only 25% of visitors actually go to the DB/Z/GT section. Inuyasha is more popular than DB now, so I actually expected this. I'm going to put up a poll asking what you think I should do. BUT, if the bandwidth keeps going up like this; I'm gonna can it. Sorry. But, there are many sites that have the exact same images as I do. I may keep the screencaps up.

2.25.03 - A Few Minor Updates

Well, I updated the the links section. I added three new links. Magitek Designs, Ranma 1/2 Perfect Edition, and Rumic World. Magitek is a great site with very good tutorials and layouts for you to use. Ranma 1/2 Perfect Edition has a ton of information. Rumic World has lots of information on Rumiko Takahashi's series. They even have an Inuyasha section named The Inuyasha Companion. Great sites! Go to links section to check them out! I'm also happy to say that I finally made a layout that I like for the Inuyasha section. This new layout is very easy for me to change the way it looks with just editing one image. ^_^ I love CSS! This new layout looks kinda like this one, except the colors are different and I don't have the highlight thing on the menu. The top image is also bigger. I'm thinking of using it on the whole site. This layout is nice, but it's a tad dark. I'll probably have it up by the end of the week. I've applied it to the whole site already, minus the episode section. I also have a bunch of new images for Inuyasha, but those won't appear till after I change the layout. Well, that's it for now.

2.23.03 - Done! Done! Done!

Well, I'm finally done! You guys didn't even really notice the difference, but for the past week I had been working non-stop getting this site working correctly. New server, new host, new everything. Sorry to all of those who were going to the DB/Z/GT section and getting 404s. Even though, if you get a 404 you get sent here. I'm going to put an actual 404 page up in a week or so. I decided to move all of the Dragon Ball stuff to a Dragonball dircectory because my main directory was cluttered with it. When it comes to my website, I like it organised.

You guys must really like everthing, cause you've already used 3 GB of bandwidth in a few days. That's fine though, because I have 40 GB. I'm going to go through the DB/Z/GT section and get rid of crappy pics and repeated pics. I have a ton of storage, but I don't really want to use it all. I'm gonna do the same to the rest of the site. This way I'll have more room to add on to the site. You can probably expect some real updates within a week or so. Bye!

2.21.02 - Welcome to the somewhat, new thedbarchives.com

Just a note, the DB/Z/GT section isn't all up yet. Every other section is, I'm working on it. It should be up within a day or two.

Well, I've been working on moving this site to this new server. I hope you enjoy this site more now. I'm going to be expanding and adding lots more content soon. Please contact me if you find any mistakes! This site has lots of pages, and it's very likely that I made some mistakes. I found lots of them before I even uploaded the site to the new host. Hopefully I'll have some real updates soon. Enjoy the site!

2.01.03 - It's February!!!

I changed the Cowboy Bebop layout. I didn't like the old one, and some people don't have the rollover image feature in their browsers. I must say that the Inuyasha popularity on this site has soared. Did you know that Inuyasha gets more search strings than all of the other series on this site? I'm not really into DBZ anymore. I still like Dragon Ball, it's one of my favorites. I like it much more than DBZ. Besides, I started this site around 2 years ago. Interests change, but this is an archive. I will keep all of those images up! This site will a one year old dot com on my 20th birthday in March.

I'm probably am going to move the site this coming week. I'm almost done fixing everything for the move. I swear this site has a lot of pages. All I have to do is change the link to the guestbook on every page. I'm going to have my own guestbook on my own server. No more adds! The poll will stay on Bravenet until I find a script that I like. The site will probably be down for a few days or you won't be able to access it because of the DNS change. Remember the site will be back. I'm sorry in advance for it going to be down. Bye! Bye!
