May 2003 Updates

5.29.03 - Messageboard Registration

Guys, when you register on the board you have to validate it with the e-mail that is sent to you. Just follow the directions in the e-mail and click on the link provided to make your account active. Then, post to your little hearts content. ^_~

If you hadn't noticed, I just got the php version of the site up. There's some new sections in the IY section, and I also cut a few of it's sections. Love Hina and Outlaw Star got cut, and there's a new series on the site. Trigun, enjoy! I'm gonna be applying a new layout in a day or so. There should be a lot of 404's popping up, sorry about that. But it's inevitable. Please deal with all the kinks in the site for the next week. I'm working on all of it. Bye! ^_^

5.26.03 - Some more stuff...

Well, I'm almost done with the php version of the site. I just have to finish converting the Dragonball section and I'll be done. Then all I have to do is upload everything and delete all the html pages. Majority of the site is gonna revert you to a 404 error page, because there's not going to be anymore .html pages, just .php. So, while I'm converting everything the site's gonna be a bit confusing. I'm just warning you now. This change should (hopefully) happen sometime this week. The messageboard is up and working fine, I'm pleased with it. I just want to tweak it some more before I make it public. Later!

5.18.03 - ...stuff

I've decided to downsize the site a bit for more growth. I'm cutting a couple sections and reducing the size of some sections. For the IY caps, I'm totally redoing them. If you hadn't noticed, when I originally uploaded them I made the mistake of uploading half of them in ascii mode instead of binary (I know, very stupid). Also when I made those I had a crappy monitor and their color and brightness is all off. Also, 1,039 caps for one movie is a tad too much. This will be good, believe me. I'm also gonna cut the episodes section until a later time, to make room for scans.

I also installed a messageboard on the server, which is almost fully configured now. I opted for this over an Ezboard (which is what I had originally gone with). For one, I wasn't going to pay $30 for a board. And two, I can have one here with no ads and no additional cost to me. And I think you guys would really prefer a no ads board over one with ads (unless you have ezsupporter like me). :)

I'm making some more headway on the PHP layout (the MB is also all in php), this php thing is really making things easy. Also, one cool thing about the board is that I can turn it off if the site's bandwidth goes too high. Can't do that with Ezboard. Well, that's it for now.

5.13.03 - PHP

Since it's such a major headache to update the entire site, I've decided to code the site in php. This'll make things a lot easier! This will be last time that I have to deal with the headache of editing about a hundred pages.

I've gotten some headway on the scans. Got about 60 scans done, about 45 for volume 9. So now I'm gonna scan some more images and code some pages.

To those of you that have sent me fanart and I haven't gotten them up yet, I'm waiting till I get the site updated before I do that. I don't want to have to update a section twice when once will be fine. Don't worry, they'll be up. ;) Toddles!

5.07.03 - I'm working on..

I'm actually working on some new stuff for the site. A whole new section (not going to tell you yet), a messageboard (it's almost done), and maybe (just maybe) a new layout. I don't know about the layout, it's gonna be a big enough hassle of putting the link to the messageboard on every page. -_-

I'm also slowly working on those scans, I think I'm just gonna focus on Volume 9. There's a lack of images from that volume on the net, and I'm gonna change that. :P That's all for now.

5.01.03 - It's May!

It's already May? Where the hell did April go? Well, I'm making some headway on those scans. I've been having some family problems, so I've been a bit sidetracked. I'm also working on a Messageboard, where you guys can yack your heads off. That won't be done till I'm sure it's the way I want it. I also noticed that the Inuyasha Miscellaneous link is messed up. Until I get it fixed, here's a link to it.

Sorry for the site being down for most of Tuesday and Wednesday. I still don't know why it was down, but I hope to find out. All I know is that it's working now. That's all for now! Later.
