November 2003 Updates

11.28.03 - Note on messageboard registration

If you're going to register at the messageboard you need a legit e-mail address. I require you activiate your account via a confirmation e-mail. If I get that e-mail bounced back to me due to a fake address, your account will be deleted! So, please make sure to type out things correctly and don't lie.

The site will be shut down Saturday morning, so if you come here you'll get forwarded to my suspension page. It'll explain things. Later!

11.27.03 - You weren't seeing things

If you saw a funny page pop up, that was me testing the suspension feature. It works. I decided to not suspend the site until maybe later Thursday or Friday. Oh well, enjoy the site until I shut it down. Then come back on Monday. ^_^

11.26.03 - Site downtime, temp. haitus

I decided to put the site on a somewhat haitus starting either later today (I'm typing this at 4:00 a.m.) or tomorrow. It's coming back on December 1st, which is Monday. This is because of bandwidth, yet again. Sorry about this, but this is what I want to do.

11.23.03 - More Cardcaptor Sakura screencaps!

I updated the Cardcaptor Sakura section with 242 screencaps for episode two. I'm happy to say that these turned out quite well. I'm going to be working on episode 3 and maybe the ending screencaps. I'm also thinking of adding some more scans to FLCL's manga volume one scans. I'm also going to say this again, the Inuyasha episode section will not be coming back any time soon. It may return in the future, but not now! That's all for today!

11.21.03 - New forum layout

I changed the forums layout. It's now black and white and has a new banner. It's kinda Christmas like, but not by much. Click here to visit it, and register if you want. :)

11.18.03 - Warning about section downtimes

Yep, I'm just warning you guys that I'm probably gonna take down those sections that were down last month during the last week of this month. Since I upgraded the site to 50 GB it's not so bad, but the site is almost at 30 GB already. If I see the site approaching the limit too soon, I may just suspend the account for the remaining of the month. Having WHM is such a nice thing. ;)

Edit - Oh yeah, I'm slowly changing out the top images. I decided to use a little color. Right now I'm testing it out in the Inuyasha sections. All the images (except for Inuyasha's) came from this past weeks 7th anniversary Shonen Sunday issue. Inuyasha turned 7 last week. I didn't like the coloring on the color illustrations of Inuyasha, so I used an image of him from volume 32's cover. I'm still debating on whether I want it to be in color, or in the red hue I had been using.

11.15.03 - Some image stats

I was counting how many images I have up on the Inuyasha section, and after I cut a ton of images out (various screencaps from various sections, the episode section, and the first movie) there's only a little over 1,500 images up. I didn't realize how many I had cut. o_O

And yet, visitors and bandwidth is high. Oh well. I'm planning on having the first movie's caps up before the end of the year. I'm planning on redoing them, this time by import DVD. If you didn't know (or are just ignorant on Japanese DVD prices), DVD's from Japan aren't cheap. They cost roughly $50 to $60. If you find anything labeled region free with English and Chinese subtitles, it's a bootleg.

11.14.03 - Inuyasha 2004 Calendar

Yes, I have just finished uploading the 2004 Inuyasha Calendar. Like the last calendar, there are 7 scans. This took me forever to do. It took me working on this on and off two weeks to complete. Some of these aren't that perfect, but it's not that noticable. Oh well, enjoy them! Oh yeah, if you'd like your own calendar (or any anime calendar), you can find them at J-List. They have tons of them, it's just that Japan's calendar season is short. I preordered mine back in September, so I wouldn't wait too long if you're planning on purchasing one.

11.7.03 - Funimation's DBGT?!?

Aww geez...this is horrible. They did skip the first I don't how many episodes, and kinda incorporated them into it. They didn't even use the original music. Man, that was 30 minutes of my time wasted. Horrible, just horrible. I'm glad I didn't buy this.

Just to clarify things, my screencaps are correct. Anyways, no updates. I just needed to clarify things.

11.4.03 - FLCL Manga Scans

I added some manga scans to the FLCL section. Nine scans for volume 1 and 41 scans for volume 2, which equals out to a nice even 50 scans. I really like it's manga, mainly for it's drawing style. Sadly, this manga is short. Very short to be precise, two volumes in total. Oh well, enjoy!

Oh yeah, this isn't the update I was talking about either. Although, I haven't seen very many scans for the FLCL manga on net.

One last thing, archived October's updates. Now the page is shorter. ^_^

Edit - Added an image policy page. It's pretty much the same thing that's said on every page, but I thought I'd add one for people who have a tendancy of over looking what I say. Oh yeah, when I updated the Tenchi Muyo! section I gave Kiyone her own section. Forgot to mention that. ;)

11.3.03 - Updated IY Manga Scans

11.2.03 - Finished updating Tenchi section

Yep, I finally finished updating it. The last time that section was updated was well over a year ago. Now there's 501 images. That's about it for today.

11.1.03 - Most sections are back up

Well, I got majority of the sections back up. Inuyasha's first movie will remain offline for a while because I'm redoing it's screencaps. The episode section will also remain offline. I'm debating on whether or not I want it back up at all. Don't pester me about it, okay?

Well, I'm gonna go and work on that update I had mentioned a couple days ago.

11.1.03 - I was right! :P

The site did go down yesterday at around 8:00 p.m. I wasn't kidding. I went ahead and upgraded the account to 50 GB. It will not be upgraded again. If bandwidth goes up again later on in November you can expect sections to be cut again.

I will be bringing back the cut sections later today, but seeing as it's around 1:00 a.m. I don't feel like doing it now. I'm debating if I want to bring back the episodes section though, it doesn't really help the bandwidth situation and I don't think I'm ever going to update it again. Oh well, I'll be back working on the site later today.
